Clima: a World Climate Analysis
The site offers a climate elaboration of daily meteo-data from GlobalSod dataset. Summaries provided here are based on data exchanged under the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) World Weather Watch Program according to WMO Resolution 40 (Cg-XII). All data summaries and products available here are intended for free and unrestricted use in research, education, and other non-commercial activities.
We consider our effort an occasion to show what people can do when both data and applications are Free (as in Freedom).
The Web Mapping application
Starting form GlobalSod dataset and ka-Map application we've set up our own web mapping application.

To get statistics from a Station select the
function and then click on the map close to the area you're interested in.
Then choose a station from the list and click on "climate"
button.
